Two weeks ago while skiing at Teton Village, I had two separate chairlift conversations about the state of our local economy:
1. A well known local architectural firm has cut full time employee work schedules to 4 days per week due to the lack of current projects. This will ripple throughout the real estate and construction industries in Jackson.
2. A large property management firm has furloughed employee hours due to decreasing revenues.
So, it appears that the invincible Jackson Hole area has been hit by the downturn.
